Friendly Harbor is made up of the mental health consumers, advocates, professionals and friends who believe that people can and do recover from mental illness. We know that self‐help is a critical ingredient for recovery. We encourage it by providing a social network, assisting people to change their roles, teaching affective coping methods, furnishing role models and giving meaning to people’s lives.
If you are experiencing a behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric crisis, you can either call or stop by the facility for an evaluation to determine the level of care most appropriate for your needs.
Provide terminally ill patients with the necessary physical, emotional and spiritual support to ensure the best quality of their remaining lives, allowing them to die with dignity; and to provide patients' families and friends with emotional support for the patients' lives and thereafter.
Licensed mental health therapists help our patients experiencing mental health issues such as: Depression; anxiety; grief and trauma associated with physical, sexual or emotional abuse.
