Care and Share is a member of Feeding America, a
national network of food banks.
Provides commodities to eligible households for
USDA Programs.
Emergency assistance for food, clothing, medical prescription assistance, transportation assistance and personal hygiene essentials. This includes the Nutrition on Wheels (NOW) Program serving home‐bound seniors.
The Family Service Center provides assistance programs for individuals and families. These programs are designed to strengthen and support families, provide nutrition, health care and employment services. Included in these services are food assistance, family Medicaid, childcare assistance, Colorado Works and employment and career services.
CSU Extension/Pueblo offers two four‐week sessions titled Dining with Diabetes. Sessions cover how diabetes affects your health, how to make healthy food choices, and preparing tasty new recipes. Also offered is Food Safety Works‐Safe Food Handling Training, a two‐hour course for food service workers that covers the basic requirements for safe food handling.

The Corps and Community Center in Pueblo provides family support programming and church services, including a food pantry, clothing, and summer camp for youth.
Meals on Wheels is a federally funded program for persons 60 years of age or older who are homebound, unable to prepare a meal, don’t drive and have no one to cook for them. Congregate lunch meal sites are provided in locations throughout the community for qualifying seniors.
The WIC program provides personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, screening and referrals to other health, food and other community programs.
